A Jointly Built "Field" in the Cloud: An In-Depth Journey into Psychoanalysis with Giuseppe Civitarese

 

2026年1月24日，国际精神分析协会(IPA)中国学组(武汉)成功举办专题网络培训。本次培训特邀当代精神分析领域核心学者、意大利精神分析学会培训分析师朱塞佩·西维塔雷斯(Giuseppe Civitarese)博士主讲，吸引了学组内60名精神分析师及候选人的积极参与。学员们涵盖了资深分析师与正在受训的候选人，形成了一个多元、活跃的优质学习社群。

On January 24, 2026, the IPA China Study Group(in Wuhan) successfully organized a specialized online training session. Featuring Dr. Giuseppe Civitarese—a leading contemporary psychoanalytic scholar and training analyst of the Italian Psychoanalytic Society (SPI)—as the keynote speaker, the event engaged 60 psychoanalysts and candidates from the Study Group. Comprising both experienced analysts and those in systematic training, the participants formed a diverse and highly interactive learning community.

Recognized as a leading figure in Field Theory within the international psychoanalytic community, Dr. Giuseppe Civitarese holds dual credentials as a training analyst for both the Italian Psychoanalytic Society (SPI) and the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA). With years of dedicated work in the field, he has not only inherited and innovatively developed the Barcelona-Tavistock Clinic model but has also achieved a profound integration of the Italian psychoanalytic tradition with the essence of Bion's thinking. His groundbreaking contributions in areas such as dream analysis and interdisciplinary research between aesthetics and psychoanalysis have earned him international academic acclaim.

朱塞佩·西维塔雷斯博士以梦的解析与场域理论的整合研究见长。在理论讲授环节，他以清晰的逻辑脉络勾勒出精神分析理论的演进全貌：从弗洛伊德以“移情-解释”为核心的经典范式，到克莱因学派对“无意识幻想”内在世界的深耕探索，再到关系学派对互动中“活现”现象的聚焦剖析，最终落脚于他深耕多年的“场域理论”，为学员呈现了一幅完整的理论发展图景。

Dr. Giuseppe Civitarese is renowned for his integrative research on dream interpretation and Field Theory. In the theoretical lecture segment, he outlined the comprehensive evolution of psychoanalytic theory with clear logical progression: from Freud's classical paradigm centered on "transference-interpretation," to the Kleinian school's deep exploration of the internal world of "unconscious phantasy," to the relational school's focused analysis of "enactment" within interactions, culminating in "Field Theory," which he has deeply cultivated for years. This presentation provided participants with a complete picture of theoretical development.

朱塞佩博士强调，场域理论的核心在于将治疗过程视为由分析师与患者共同构建的无意识互动场域。他指出，这一范式转变要求分析师彻底超越传统“空白屏幕”或“权威诠释者”的固化角色，转变为场域中敏锐的参与观察者。在此框架下，无意识不再局限于个体内部，而是在治疗关系的“此时此地”中持续流动与生成。这一根本视角的革新，为解读临床材料提供了全新的系统性框架。

Dr. Civitarese emphasized that the core of Field Theory lies in viewing the therapeutic process as an unconsciously co-constructed interactive field between analyst and patient. He stressed that this paradigm shift requires the analyst to move decisively beyond the traditional fixed roles of the “blank screen” or “authoritative interpreter,” and instead become a keen participant-observer within the field. In this framework, the unconscious is no longer confined within the individual but is continuously flowing and emerging in the “here and now” of the therapeutic relationship. This fundamental shift in perspective provides a new systemic framework for interpreting clinical material.

 

从理论航向实践：两场临床督导的深度场域

From Theory to Practice: Immersion in Two Clinical Supervisions

为推动理论与实践的深度融合，本次研修专门设置两轮案例督导环节。督导过程中，朱塞佩·西维塔雷斯博士生动演绎了其核心临床工作方法——“沉浸与反思”的循环互动模式。

To promote deep integration of theory and practice, the training specifically included two rounds of case supervision. During these sessions, Dr. Giuseppe Civitarese vividly demonstrated his core clinical methodology: the cyclical interactive mode of "immersion and reflection."

他引导案例报告者及全体学员，将临床中的核心困境(如强烈负性移情、晦涩梦境解读、破坏性互动行为等)置于治疗关系的整体场域中进行系统性审视。通过反复追问“为何这份临床材料会在‘此时此地’的我们之间浮现?”，朱塞佩博士具象化示范了如何突破对患者单方面病理化解读的局限，转而探究医患双方无意识互动如何共同塑造当下的治疗现实。

He guided the case presenters and all participants to systematically examine core clinical dilemmas (such as intense negative transference, interpretation of obscure dreams, destructive interactive behaviors, etc.) within the overall field of the therapeutic relationship. By repeatedly posing the question, "Why does this clinical material emerge between us, here and now?", Dr. Civitarese concretely demonstrated how to move beyond the limitations of a one-sided pathologizing interpretation of the patient. Instead, he shifted the focus to investigating how the unconscious interaction between therapist and patient co-creates the present therapeutic reality.

针对学员提出的“攻击性处理”这一经典临床难题，朱塞佩博士给出了场域视角的创新性回应：攻击性并非源于原始驱力，而往往是关系联结断裂的信号。治疗的关键不在于“驯服”或“转化”攻击本身，而在于穿透攻击表象，理解并修复导致联结失败的关系模式。这一思路为临床中困难情感的处理提供了兼具希望感与实操性的全新路径。

In response to the classic clinical challenge of "managing aggression" raised by participants, Dr. Civitarese offered an innovative response from the field perspective: aggression does not stem from a primordial drive but often signals a rupture in relational connection. The crux of therapy lies not in "taming" or "transforming" the aggression itself, but in looking beyond its manifestation to understand and repair the relational patterns that lead to failed connection. This line of thinking provides a new path, imbued with both hopefulness and practical applicability, for addressing difficult emotions in the clinical setting.

Participants widely reported that the training offered both cutting-edge perspectives and practical value. It not only deepened their understanding of psychoanalytic theory but also provided significant inspiration for updating their clinical framework. The successful organization of this event represents an important initiative by the IPA China Study Group(in Wuhan) to promote advanced psychoanalytic theories. It also stands as a vivid practice in fostering international academic exchange and supporting the growth of local psychoanalytic practitioners.
