IPA中国学组与IPA资助委员会第三次线下会议在武汉圆满召开

The third in-person meeting of the IPA China Study Group and the Sponsor Committee was successfully held in Wuhan.

 

2026年4月17日，IPA中国学组(以下简称学组)与IPA资助委员会第三次线下会议在武汉顺利召开。会议在学组办公室(地址：武汉市江岸区时代广场1座10层1004室)举行，共有17位学组成员出席。IPA中国学组Sponsor Committee主席Nancy R. Goodman博士，以及Sponsor Vivienne Elton博士、Francisco O’Ryan博士共同参会。

本次会议由学组前任主席童俊教授主持。会议伊始，学组现任主席仇剑崟教授与童俊教授先后发表欢迎致辞，并简要介绍了本次会议的议程与要求。随后，Francisco O’Ryan博士发表了精彩的学术演讲。

在下午的会议环节，学组各委员会主席依次汇报了本委员会已完成的工作进展及未来工作计划。三位Sponsor认真听取了各位主席的汇报，并针对提出的问题进行了细致解答。

最后，在IPA中国Sponsor Committee的指导下，学组围绕电子杂志的筹备工作、参与IPA亚太会议的相关事宜，以及学组未来的发展方向等议题展开了热烈讨论。会议成果丰硕，取得圆满成功。

On April 17, 2026, the third in-person meeting between the IPA China Study Group(Hereinafter referred to as the Study Group)and the IPA Sponsor Committee was convened in Wuhan. The meeting was held at the Study Group Office (Room 1004, 10th Floor, Building 1, Times Square, Jiang’an District), with 17 members in attendance. Dr. Nancy R. Goodman (the chair of the IPA China Sponsor Committee), together with Sponsors Dr. Vivienne Elton and Dr. Francisco O’Ryan, participated in the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Tong Jun, the former president of the Study Group. At the beginning of the meeting, Professor Qiu Jianying, the incumbent president of the Study Group, and Professor Tong Jun, delivered welcome remarks successively, and briefly outlined the agenda and requirements of the meeting. Subsequently, Dr. Francisco O’Ryan had an excellent academic speech.

In the afternoon session, thechairs of different sub-committees reported the completed workto date and outlined the future plans. The sponsors provided detailed feedback and addressed questions arising from these reports.

Under the guidance of the IPA China Sponsor Committee, the meeting proceeded to focused discussions on the development of an electronic journal, participation in the IPA Asia-Pacific Conference, and the future direction of the Study Group. The meeting was productive and concluded as planned.
